The new 2017 Dodge Durango can be an appealing choice for people who like their cars muscular and straightforward, but this crossover offers a lot more than that. This is a great solution for people with small children who are ashamed of the station wagons that their parents used but still need to keep their kids occupied and safe. The new Durango is going to deliver on this, and with class to boot.

2017 Dodge Durango Price
It is far too early to talk about the price at this point, although judging by the competition as well as the earlier models, $30,500 for the base version seems about right.
Dodge Durango Exterior
The exterior of the 2017 Dodge Durango is expected to be a lot more muscular, even though the exact details about the exterior appearance are kept secret.
Still, the unique blend of personal and practical approach should remain visible, rather than simply getting a new grille and a pair of headlights, which will most likely happen as well.
However, it would seem that most of the flaws of earlier models will persist, including mediocre handling, excess weight and the 6-passenger limit.
For all its good sides, the competition is getting stiff and people at Dodge will have to do a lot better than this to stay competitive.
Interior of Dodge Durango 2017
On the inside, the 2017 Durango is going to feature the latest in technologies and gadgets, including keyless entry, cruise control, keyless ignition, heated mirrors for better visibility, an improved steering wheel as well as a number of other features.
The upholstery is going to be mostly cloth, but at least connectivity is on the level and the tri-zone climate control systems should make for an enjoyable driving experience regardless of the weather conditions outside.
The steering wheel and seats are completely adjustable, with the former offering the option to adjust the height and the latter offering versatility in terms of folding.
Optional features also include satellite radio, an improved power seat, rearview camera, voice controls and lots of leather, to name only a few.
From the looks of it, all the 2017 Durangos except the R/T are going to be powered by a 3.6 L V6 powertrain with 290 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, reaching 6 mph in under 8 seconds.
Now, the R/T is going to feature a slightly more powerful 5.7 L V8, with 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, making roughly 14 miles on a single gallon in the city, 22 on a highway and 16 combined.
Unfortunately, Dodge has been mysterious about the max speed, although this piece of intel should pop up soon as well. Right now, rumors suggest 121 mph.
