Look out James Bond fans, the 2017 Aston Martin DB11 is just around the corner. Let’s see what it has to offer.
Release Date of Aston Martin DB11
The first deliveries of the 2017 Aston Martin DB11 are expected by the end of 2016 and will continue well into the next year.
2017 Aston Martin DB11 Price
The starting price is roughly $212,000, plus all the associated expenses including additional equipment, transport and other fees.
For a very long time, it seemed that the exterior of the 2017 Aston Martin DB11 was going to remain a mystery until the very end, but the veil of silence has finally been broken. What we are looking at has noticeably smaller headlamps, complete with a front grille that is eerily reminiscent of earlier models – specifically the DB10 as well as a brand new hood.
In fact, this vehicle seems to have contributed greatly to the overall design of the new DB11. For starters, we have the new grille that already takes a lot of room in the front, plus the headlamps that are rounder and smaller.
There is a slight difference in the shape of the windows and the roofline as well, no doubt to fit the new image and add to the aerodynamics. Finally, the diffuser is so much alike to that on the DB10 that they might as well be interchangeable.
What is not interchangeable, however, is Aston Martin’s signature AeroBlade spoiler that produces such an enormous amount of downforce that the company had it trademarked last year. And it also looks really cool.
On the inside, the 2017 Aston Martin DB11 is going to feature a few alterations, but nothing that would stray too far from the familiar layout. This is why the materials and the overall design are not going to surprise anyone, especially when it comes to the dashboard and the center stack.
Then again, the instrument cluster, the infotainment display with its eight inches in diameter and the tweaked steering wheel all beg to differ from the norm.
Speaking of infotainment, the TFT screen is going to feature rotary controls and those willing to pay a little extra will get to play with an advanced touchpad that can recognize characters and gestures.
There is also the satellite navigation and auto-park assist complete with cameras that cover all angles.
The interior space has also been improved, which will certainly be appreciated in the back seat, which will see a generous increase in legroom – and so will the luggage compartment, with extra room for whatever baggage you decide to throw in there.
The material and color selection is nothing short of impressive, from Alcantara leather to Nexus quilting and Celestial perforation, for those who can appreciate such matters – in other words, the British.
