McLaren 570S Exterior design
When the 650S came out, its front fascia was inspired by the P1. Since then, it was obvious, that the Sports Series, including this model will receive the hypercar’s front end. So, the look of the new McLaren is impressive with ’’designed by air“ fascia, big LED headlights, rounded nose and striking aero blades below the front bumper.
McLaren’s famous dihedral doors are also part of the 570S with ’’floating tendon“ that splits the airflow and sends it into the side intakes and underneath the flying buttresses.
Around back, we can see the uniqueness of the 570S. The flying buttresses and the teardrop-shaped rear glass are helping to channel air across the rear desk. As the result, the heat evacuation is improved and downforce is increased. The apron has a totally new design, while the taillights are large compared to the rear fascia. For better aerodynamics, the exhaust pipes are flanking the intricate diffuser which uses eight or more vertical blades.
